| Project HAPPY - Housing Animals Protecting Pets | |
| "Y" because it's humane. This program provides dogs that are destined to spend their entire lives on the end of a chain with a dog house, a new food/water bowl and run cable for freedom of movement, thereby giving these dogs a little more quality of life. | ||
| Adoption Option Program - | |
| Since we no longer house animals, all of our adoptions are done through PetFinder.com Someone no longer wanting their pet(s) will e-mail us photos of the pet(s) with the pet(s) information. These pets must be spayed/neutered. Photos and information will then be placed on our PetFinder site. This program allows pet owners to keep their pets in the home with them until the HS/AR can re-home them and allows the pet owners to be a part of the adoption process. Including where their pets are placed, which gives them a great sense of peace. Ofcourse with our foster parents opening their hearts as well as their homes to many pets, this enables us to provide a safe refuge to many pets until they can get a second chance at a loving lifetime home. |
